Since then, Generation Z employees have entered the workforce and managers are facing new challenges and impacts to the profession as a result of ‘The Great Resignation’. During this session, the guidebook co-author and current city management professionals will discuss what has occurred over the past 20 years and the ongoing challenges of identifying, mentoring, and preparing the next generation of city managers.
